Day 1: Saturday: Arrival to Lima
Upon arriving in Lima, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel.
Our representative will give you a documentation kit with detailed program explanation. Luggage and hotel registration assistance will be offered.

Day 2: Sunday: Lima (B)

H/D CITY TOUR (COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA)
Visit the modern and colonial parts of the city of Lima the “City of Kings”, beginning in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. Pass by a Huaca or sacred pre-Inca site. There will then be a stop at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean. The tour also includes the Historic Centre based on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located, as well as a visit to one of the largest colonial-era convents.

Day 3: Monday: Lima- Cusco (B)
Breakfast at hotel. We transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco city in the morning.

You will explore the city of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will walk its streets where time seems to have stopped, where every corner tells a story. You will visit the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and center of worship to the Sun God, on which the Dominican order built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will visit other places of importance within the Inca culture, such as the archaeological site of Q’enko. Finally, you will arrive at the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important Catholic temple in the city.

Day 4: Tuesday: Cusco- Sacred Valley (B & L)

Full Day History and Culture tour in Maras, Moray & Misminay
(Duration: 6 hours approximately).
You will head in the direction of the Maras salt mines, an amazing place where the finest salt in the world is extracted: Maras salt. On the way, you will make a stop at the Raqchi viewpoint, from where you will have an impressive view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Then, you will visit the Misminay community. Upon arrival, the villagers will give you a warm welcome with music and typical dances. There, you will be able to learn about the Andean families’ lifestyle, by sharing some of their daily activities with them. Then, you will enjoy a delicious and traditional lunch prepared with local products. You will continue with a visit to Moray, a fascinating archeological site with huge concentric terraces, which the Incas used as a botanical laboratory.

Day 5: Wednesday: Sacred Valley- Machu Picchu, Cusco (B & L)
Breakfast at hotel.
At the proper time you will board the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu.

FULL DAY TOUR OF MACHU PICCHU (SIB)
You are going to visit one of the most important energy centers in the world: Machu Picchu. You will be driven to the archeological site, the visit of which will be an unforgettable experience, with a professional tour guide to impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip.

You may enjoy a unique experience filled with beautiful scenery, spectacular views, small communities, and opportunities to observe local wildlife. The Adventure awaits you! Don’t miss Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, Maras and Moray.
Optional Full Day Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain (additional cost CAD$182/person)
You will leave your hotel in Cusco early in the morning, crossing the South Valley, towards Cusipata. From there, you will be transferred to Phulawasipata where you will begin your walk. After some time to prepare, you will start with the ascending route to Vinicunca, the Rainbow Mountain. The place will amaze you with its vivid colors and natural beauty. There, you will have time to take photos and fill yourself with the energy of the place. At the end of this visit, you will walk back to the starting point. Finally, you will be taken back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 7: Friday: Cusco – Puno (B & L)

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the bus station.
Bus from Cusco to Puno (included lunch & tours)
You will leave the station to start the bus trip to Puno, enjoying the wonderful landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco on the way. First you will visit Andahuaylillas, where you will find the church of San Pedro, a beautiful 17th-century building that has an impressive organ, decorated with angels and cherubs. Then, you will visit the Raqchi ruins -also known as The Temple of God Wiracocha- which have different areas that were used for various purposes. At the end of this visit, you will enjoy a delicious and typical lunch at a local restaurant. Then, you will head to La Raya, the highest point between Cusco and Andahuaylillas, where you will make a short stop to appreciate the landscape. Afterwards, you will go to Pucará, where you will visit the town and the museum of this Inca military construction, which also functioned as an administrative center. Finally, you will arrive at the bus station in Puno.

Day 8: Saturday: Puno (B & L)

Full Day Titicaca Lake: Taquile & Uros Island
In the morning, we will make a one-day tour to Lake Titicaca and, as first stop, we will visit the floating islands of the Uros, also known as People of the Lake. These islands are built out of layers of totora and are used as housing and trade centers for the native Uros. They travel on handicrafted rafts. We will go on with our tour to Taquile Island, where the community greets tourists very kindly, and keep their old-style traditions, customs and colorful clothings. The islanders are skilled craftspeople and express in each piece astonishing techiniques developed by their ancestors for centuries. Box Lunch is included.

Day 9: Sunday: Puno – Lima (B)
Breakfast at hotel. You will be transferred to Juliaca airport.
Flight from Juliaca to Lima. Arrival in Lima, meet and transfer to the hotel.
